[Tern Link D8 Cycling Adventures] Punggol to East Coast Park - Barrage - Orchard - Newton - Serangoon Road - Kallang Road - Mountbatten - Eunos - Punggol

Date: 30 Apr 2014

Another interesting bike adventure for me!

The group agenda was to meet up at East Coast Park Car park F2, then cycle down to Marina Barrage and stop by Newton Food Centre via Orchard Road

I started my journey from Punggol...

First stop was to meet up with a bro, KM,  riding from Toa Payoh...
Some photos taken at the first stop...

took some photos of the equipment on the bike today...

on top of the usual water bottles, lights and helmet.... brought along a Mobius Action cam to record some clips...

After meeting up with KM, he led us to East Coast Park via Siglap PCN, quite a nice PCN except for the 2 overhead bridges where we have to dismount and push....

A photo taken when we reached ECP car park F2....

Soon, everyone was here.... a big turn out today!

The group consists of foldies, (Tern Verge X10, Link C7, Link D8, Dahon Falco, MU SLX, Java Decaf), mountain bikes, single speed, etc...

A photo taken before the start of the ride....

The group proceeded towards Marina Barrage, via East Coast Park, Ford Road, and stopped by Tanjong Rhu near Indoor Stadium to take a photo... 13 bikes in total! nice!

Next, we proceeded to Marina Barrage.....
Awesome night scenery as usual...
Love this place!!

Then, we cycled through Gardens By The Bay, Marina Bay Financial Centre, Esplanade Drive, Orchard Road, and reached Newton Food Centre...

The bros ordered some goodies to replenish the burnt calories....

After that.... the group moved on along Bukit Timah Road, Serangoon Road, Lavender Street and Kallang Road....

I broke off with the group at Sims Ave to proceed back towards Eunos, Defu Lane, Sengkang and finally Punggol, while the group proceeded back to East Coast Park car park F2...

A photo taken when back in Punggol...
Covered 70.51Km in this adventure...

Shiok!

Looking forward to the next Biking Cycling Adventures... :)
Thanks for reading... :)
